Mara Bratos was born in 1974 in Dubrovnik. In 1999 she graduated from the Academy for Dramatic Arts, in Zagreb, Camera Department. She is a member of ULUPUH and HZSU. She works as a freelance photographer, and is commissioned by the magazine Banka, Cosmopolitan, Elle and other journals and magazines. She lives in Zagreb.
